About

Todd Littfin, Owner & President

I was born in 1974 in the St. Paul, Minnesota suburbs and lived there until I was 10 years old when my family relocated to the Spooner, Wisconsin area.  After graduation from Spooner High School in 1992, I joined the U.S. Air Force as a General Purpose Vehicle Mechanic, stationed at Eielson AFB, Alaska (near Fairbanks).  After separation from active duty, I joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve, 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport Air Reserve Station and was a member there from 1997 until my retirement in 2016.

I have been working in the aviation industry for nearly 15 years, both as a line service technician, and as a parts department manager for several FBO's.  In 2017, I decided to venture out on my own on a part-time basis to form Smokin' Rivet Airparts & Salvage.  In early 2019, I decided to devote 100 percent of my time to Smokin' Rivets and have been doing this as my more than full-time employment since.

In my limited free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and flying when I am able, having recently lost my medical certificate due to seizures.  I am currently looking to fly light sport until I can retain my medical certificate.  I also enjoy assisting my friends with other aircraft restoration projects, and SLOWLY working on the restoration of my Cessna 140, which has been in the family nearly continuously since 1975.  It is my pleasure to serve all of you, our customers, which are the reason I LOVE this career choice!  I get to do something I am passionate about everyday for my living.  I could not be happier!  I look forward to being of service to all of you!  Thank you for your support, friendship, and your business!
